Hi Everyone,
The last few days have been busy busy busy! Last friday night saw us faced with a record number of film entries ( Word must got out about our awesome prizes and judges this year!). A selection panel gave up their friday night to view the entertaining entries and discuss our final 10. Check them out on our website! There is pretty much a film from every genre you can think of! We are very excited to announce our judges who are top storytellers in their respective roles. Please take a moment to read their bios. Some exciting facts! Our finalists range from 13 to their mid 20s! They come from all across Western Sydney and most of them have been previous entrants to the festival. So hopefully, those who didnt make it in this year wont be disheartened and will still continue to make more films that we will see in the future. Remember, not only does Best Film have $1000 (sponsored by the International Film School, Sydney) up for grabs, the audience award sponsored by the AFTRS open program also has $1000 up for grabs. So come along to the festival so you can have a say on who walks home with the prize. Last years festival sold out and if this years online bookings are anything to go by, this year will be no different.
