ZEIT & ZA’ATAR will be the third of our five CULTUREVATE events.  

Meaning Olive Oil & Za’atar, two staple ingredients that play a significant role in the region’s culinary heritage. Inspired by the traditional ‘Asr’ gatherings, when families, friends and neighbours gather in their gardens, houses on the street to share delicious pastries, tea and coffee while sharing stories and news. 

The event will showcase music, poetry, art, workshops, and delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.

• Workshops: Dolma making workshop, Keyring workshop
• Performances: Cultural/dance acts, singing, poetry reading
• Art exhibition: Showcasing the work of local Middle Eastern Artists
• Art stalls and markets
• Food stalls

Join us in celebrating culture, art, and cuisine at ZEIT & ZA’ATAR – an unforgettable evening of Middle Eastern talent and culture curated by young people.

PYT Fairfield has set up a dedicated fundraising page through Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) as part of our Culturevate: Zeit & Za’atar event. All funds raised will go directly towards the medical efforts in Gaza.
