The Real Comedy is a new solo work led by Helen Guliana. The work is both an artistic experiment and journey of self-discovery that uses drama and comedy to explore her experiences as a woman.

Drawing on her own experiences and the stories of women in her community, the project places these voices and lived experiences at the centre of the creative process. The Real Comedy creates a platform for stories that are often overlooked, highlighting the important role storytelling plays in strengthening communities.

By transforming everyday experiences into humour, the project celebrates the richness and diversity of the Fairfield community while championing authentic, community-led arts practice.

Discover how everyday experiences can be transformed into powerful, funny, and meaningful stories. In a series of welcoming and supportive workshops, you’ll build confidence and develop storytelling and performance skills
