Volunteer to help PYT archive our history

As PYT prepares for its 40th birthday, we are inviting volunteers to support a major archiving and digitisation project in 2026. Through this work, volunteers will help preserve 38 years of PYT’s history and support access to our artistic legacy.

In this role, volunteers will work directly with PYT’s archival materials. Specifically, tasks include:

Scanning and organising documents
Adding show and event information to Ausstage
Digitising video across a wide range of formats
Photographing archival items held at PYT Fairfield and Liverpool Library.

Importantly, this opportunity is flexible and designed to fit around individual availability. As a result, volunteers can arrange days and times that suit their schedules.
